Vizio VO42L saga, Act 3: Signal tracing a T-Con board

    Folks,
Previous acts were reported in the following threads:
So now I'm in act 3 of my saga, trying to figure out if the replacement T-Con board is bad or not. I do have a (150 MHz) dual-trace scope (and access to fancier ones). Looks like the next step is tracing signals in and out of the T-Con board. Which leads to the following questions:
    1. Is there any available tech info (general or specific) on expected signals in and out of a Philips 6870C-4200C T-Con board (question similar to a recent thread, https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22571)
    2. Curiously enough, I also have a 37" Vizio LCD TV of similar vintage. Haven't checked for T-Con similarity to the VO42L, but presume I could try comparing between the two. Advice?

    TIA,
    Mike

I'm in the same boat with you, trying to figure out if the T-con or the mainboard is at fault on a 52" Philips.
