    Possible Element FLX-3710 Purchase

This is not a simple power supply or inverter problem.

The unit turns on, and the RED power led turns to blue
when I pushed the ON/OFF button.

But there is no menu or picture....only blue horizontal
lines, with some occasional white digital blocks. No
sound either. But the backlight clearly works correctly.

What you all think? LCD controller board? Main input
    board? T-con?

He agreed to $15, but he doesn't have the original remote,
but some universal one that he claims will work.

Sounds easy to me. Try to get a picture of the failure before you buy it.

It sounds like a T-con problem. There are T-Con boards for this TV on ebay for about $20 and a remote for it about 23.

Quite possibly a power supply problem: low supply voltages from bad caps can cause video glitches.

LG 82UN8570AUD ~ TCON or PANEL?
        by kca
        Hello all ~

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

Insignia NS-LCD019-09 issue: Power light turns blue for 3 seconds, the flashes red before going solid read again
        by cajoeg
Hello, I'm new to the group and to trying to repair a LCD TV. During the past few years, I've been collecting/repairing/restoring vintage personal computers (Commodore, Apple II, Atari, TRS-80, Texas Instruments, and Timex Sinclair). This has been my retirement hobby. Now I've gotten interested in trying to repair a LCD TV that I have and used regularly when working on vintage computers.

The LCD I'm working on is a Insignia NS-LCD019. I've downloaded the service manual that I could find, but it must be a different revision since not too many items in the service manual match the TV...

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?
        by x_orange90_x
Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

gigabyte BX-BT1900 BRIX Rev 1.2 blue led turns on but no start.
        by questore
        Hi Everyone,
I have 5 of these BX-BT1900 and 2 of them are not stating after a proper shutdown.
        Symptoms:
        - Computer starts as soon as power adapter plugged in and blue light turn on on the power button. Fan spinning, but no picture
        - All power rails present and fine and CPU is slightly getting warm
        - Nothing else is getting hot (thermal camera shows no exceptional heat)
        - Tryed BIOS clean and reflash from here, but no luck. BUT someone suggested that I should try LPC clock temp fix.

I have found the LPC connector according to this documentation:...
