    Panasonic Th46pz850U Picture/sound?

On power on I have a solid red light all the fans are running. The panel is light very dimly, nothing is visible.

Here is a link to the service manual.
    http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresul...oria=&kat2=all
I am not sure what this means but with the LDVS disconnected from the plasma panel, it lights up bright white
This set has no sound or picture; I have attached the flow chart for no picture
The d board has been replaced.
The high voltage measurements are all within specifications. I have attached the normal voltages.
I have voltage measurements on the P board connectors P12/P7/P6/and P25.
Any ideas on how to proceed with this?

Hi - I know very little about plasma tvs - usually they have a zsus and ysus and first test is usual to unplug one then the other then both and see what happens, but I dont know on this which board is which.
I have looked for fuses there are 3 on the sub power supply 2 fancy color striped ones ive not seen before and a red barrel. Couldnt see any on the other smaller boards though one has a few fusible resistors ( at least I think they are) Tom66 seems well versed in plasmas hopefully he will have a look at it.

When you say no sound can we assume you have a sound source connected
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

I can vouch that Alexanna has paid it forward several times here by helping hundreds of people in the lcd computer display forum over the last 2.5 years so if anyone deserves some help, it is him.

He's not like a few people who only come here for their own benefit and give nothing back.

Unfortunately, while I can watch a plasma TV, my "experience" in fixing them is limited to reading threads by tom66 and budm.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

A board is your fault -

Does TV turn off with remote or do you have to unplug it?

Check all crystals on the A board.

I found another troubleshooting guide, and it is directing me to the “A" board like tom66 suggested.
Tom as far as checking the crystals I do not have assess to a oscilloscope .These crystals can not be that expensive I would be willing to try replacing them.
When I push the power button on the front of the set/ the red standby light stays red and the fans start spinning. The set needs to be unpluged to turn it off. I ordered a factory remote control and I have not had much luck getting it to work.
The numbers stamped on the crystals are:H25000k7 and 24.5Mnc9 would you help in finding a replacment.I am willing to give replacment a try.

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
            by TR103
            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
            - sound and backlight, but no picture
            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
            - it keeps rebooting
            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

            Hi everyone,

I've got this Panasonic TV here with the following symptoms:

            * Standby Light is solid RED
            * Turning on using the Button on the TV (long press) would change LED to blinking GREEN
            * After a couple of seconds, LED is solid GREEN and without picture or sound.

I've tried a couple of things before tearing it apart:

            * Resetting using various combinations of powerbutton and volume buttons pressing down while booting.
            * Activating Self Check according to service manual using IR Blaster (we have no remote unfortunately)...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
            by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
            by Ierwin
            Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Samsung UN70NU6900F no picture and no sound
            by jchang
            Hi all

I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.

            Symptom:
            No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
            No sound at all.

            What I tried:
            1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...
