The remote start of my Sharp 21V-L80M Color TV is taking too long. The display appears approx 15 to 20 secs after the power button on the remote controller is pressed. Where should i check for the problem?

How did the problem start and how long ago - how long did it take originally.
How long does it take using the buttons on the tv. New batteries in the remote?
On you last two threads you did say you would report back but never did.
