    Insignia/Polaroid NS-LCD42HD Tcon LVDS cable

    Hello all,

    I have a Insignia/Polaroid NS-LCD42HD and broke the LVDS cable when removing, wires fell out I need to replace but do not know the pinout

    Does anyone know what the connection pinout on the Tcon side is?

    I have searched high and low for this cable and cannot find it

      Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort.       Hi There,

      This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

      After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

      Good day, I have a TCL TV: Model 43s423. After turning ON the TV, the ROKU TV logo appears with fine lines over the whole screen, then after a while there are vertical bands in the middle of the screen top to bottom and the TV tries to update its firmware but I do not have the remote to connect it to my new network connection.       I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

      Picked up this roku tv yesterday. Its got colored vertical lines on both sides of the screen, some flickering vertical lines, and image stabilization issues. The guy said his kid threw a controller at it, but the screen doesn't seem physically damaged.

      When I unplug the cable going from the main board to the tcon the screen is all black for what its worth.What I want to know is if the screen is damaged or the tcon? All the voltages on the tcon checked out but that doesn't mean the tcon ic isnt damaged.
