Re: Jvc lt32a61sj/bj audio but no picture
Hi all,
After a "while" i decided to pick it up from the last step i did.I have changed 4 capacitors on the psw. It didn;t help. I checked the voltage output from the psw it reeds ok (as indicated on the psw).
(1)I haven't tested the resistors yet and the diodes on the psw, i will do it today. (2)I also saw in an other link that little triangle fuses may be the problem on the main board?..
So do you think that last two actions will help?Comment

Re: Jvc lt32a61sj/bj audio but no picture
i removed the pwb and i noticed that smthng is damaged in Q9 >Q9 T0507-00009A TRANSISTOR could that be the troublemaker to the set? to be frank i dont know what a transistor actually does.
also i noticed one capacitor a bit loose and i am thinking to resolder itLast edited by MISTERG; 03-12-2013, 03:07 PM.Comment

Re: Jvc lt32a61sj/bj audio but no picture
Thanks for the help! C8 seems hot , you have an eye like a hawk , i had to zoom twice to see it. I called the local service store and gave them the Q9 T0507-00009A TRANSISTOR detail, but they reverted that this is the manufacturer's id of the spare part and not its "commercial" name/type i.e. npn etc .Does anyone know what is the commercial name/type , as JVC service in Greece stopped its operation a couple of years ago, so i am not hoping for an original part. I assume they will say the same for the C8.
I attach the service manual/spare parts if you can see smthng more
Again Many thanks for the info provided in the forum.
p.s. With the information given in this forum, I had restored successfully my pc motherboard (bad cap, exploded top).Attached FilesComment

Re: Jvc lt32a61sj/bj audio but no picture
Keep posting to myself. I am determined to resolve this.
Found with a lot of internet search that T0507-00009A TRANSISTOR has most probably the commercial name as the attached file. I made an order on this , it will come within the next 15 days..hope it works.
But with C8 the manufacturer says it is a capacitor C8 T2203-FC104E C CAPACITOR 0.1uF 50V K?!!! Could that be, with that shape? or is it also a transistor? Btw there is no such capacitor ( i mean the shape) in the electronics shop.
Please help.Attached FilesLast edited by MISTERG; 03-19-2013, 09:03 AM.Comment

The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.
The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...2 Photos -
by IAmOrionHi members, I came across this forum when searching a fault on my LG 55UB850V TV.
Rather than hi-jack another members post/thread I thought I should start my own even though it's an almost identical issue.
The thread I refer to can be found here:

My boards are the same, and my issue it the same. I have NO Picture and NO Sound. Nothing. When first turning on the TV at the...01-28-2024, 06:50 PM -
by Tr0llHi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
by WayOfTheRoadHello, everyone. A neighbor was throwing this TV away for "not turning on" so I asked for it and they gave it to me for free since Vizio gave them a new TV under warranty.
I'm pretty proficient with electronics in general but this is the first TV I've ever tried to fix. I strongly suspect bad LED lights but figured I'd post some info and see if those of you more experienced with TVs can confirm my suspicion before I move forward. Some photos and measurements below:
The power supply only has two outputs, one output cable going to the main board and the other... - Loading...
