hi chaps,does anyone know how to test this pwm chip out of circuit?https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...c97e502292.pdf im getting 22v going in on the vdd pin, capacitor to this pin is 22uf 50 v,esr of 1,28,so that one is ok,but getting no voltage coming out of the pwm chip,the symptom is the psu transformers are hissing (1 sec pause) hissing (1 sec pause)though its trying to startup etc etc all the primary/output caps are fine all mosfets tested good ,5v standby is present no other output voltages present ,ps-on pin is getting its voltage ,,nearly 400v on the primary cap,so im sure its this pwm chip

please let us know if everything works ok if your tv gets fixed, as it will be and aid for anyone else having the same problem and wishing to fix it.it would save people clogging up this site with topics that are duplicated,and can be found easily using the search function.,and taking up valuable space.enjoy your fixed tv!,hopefully! -
