    Philips 42PF5520D/10

This plasma set is fitted with a samsung chassis and the set would go to standby occasionally it would work for days without problems.

Taking the back off revealed 4 bulged 680uf 50v samwha caps in the power supply the other caps are capxon all rubbish casp so i intend to replace these but i am wondering if there's any other caps i should replace.

    The psu No is LJ44-00101CPS-424-PH.

An update to this I replaced the 4 680UF 50V caps and it still kept going to standby.

I downloaded a Philips pdf for the PSU and found there's a mod for this psu which involves the famous caps 8059/8060 3300 10V and on this PSU if you find R8094 is 910K then change it for a 1M 1%.

After changing these components and on this PSU R8094 was a 910K it now works OK.
