T-con or bad panel... quite likely to be T-con. (Budm will be able to tell us for sure.)
Do post pictures of the insides when you get it. (It will be interesting to see how well built Samsung LED sets are.)Last edited by tom66; 03-26-2012, 05:54 PM.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung 46" LED TV UN46B6000VFXZA
Does the amount of lines and faded part of the screen get worst as it stays on longer? This kind of symptom I will try cleaning (I use DETOXIT D5) and re-seating the ribbon cables between the LCD panel and the T-CON first. I am working on one with similar problem but I do not have a chance to take it apart yet.Never stop learning

You set it to the lowest pressure setting and just spray into the cable receptacle, not on the cable, you use very very small amount of it, no need to wipe or dry, then just slip the ribbon cable back in place. Try spraying on a small piece of paper so you will know how much it's coming out from the spray tube. When you spray, you will see it start spreading by itself.Never stop learning

I think the LCD panel has failed. Do the lines move with the image? Did the problem develop immediately or slowly? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung 46" LED TV UN46B6000VFXZA
T-con can drive panel incorrectly causing lines to move with parts of the image.
Panel cannot typically fail in such a way. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
