Screen is broken in (PN51D450) but I have a good screen from a PN51D550 are these swappable screens at all? I know the boards most times can't be cross swapped, guy said it has sound just small crack in screen and wont light up? Thanks in advance. -

A friend emailed me these pics wondering if anyone from the smartest forum on the web could kinda troubleshoot from a picture If this would be
1. Hard Drive
2. Video Graphic Card
3. Memory is corrupted
4. The LCD screen needs to replaced.

I have what I believe is a 2009 26 inch lcd, Ive changed tcon and no luck I have a crystal clear picture for the top 1.75 inches then the rest is blurred and words will have like a double vision look, anyone else have fun with these? I will try and show a couple pictures just hard to capture this. Thanks for any response... -

Yes Tom I noticed that after I hit the "submit" my apologies. Hi all My question is Im fighting the ever presnt *clicking* and the 5 red light flashing sequence on this tv, I found a comparable x main board on fleabay the PCB number matches(LJ41-09422A) but the PBA number(LJ92-01759B) doesnt. Mine has the LJ92-01759A. Otherwise will the PN51D450 or PN51D440 board work here ? Thank you in advance, if any questions ask away...Gootch -

Try this, being the bottom of the totem pole tester that I am Ive heard theres a simple method that you let tv run for ten minutes or so, then unplug and touch the heat sink on the x-sus and y-sus boards which ever one is cold to
the touch is failed, but I would guess, the Y usually the culprit in plasmas and I just replaced one ina vizio and have a LG same board tried correct me if Im wrong here guys,,good luckLeave a comment:

I started by telling the first 2 operators that I needed their supervisors and that NO was an unacceptable answer,then got to excutive supervisor and told her I paid 1700 for a tv that breaks in 2 years, is UNACCEPTABLE Then told them my wife got mad at me when I paid 1800 for the tv and she was finally getting over it and the tv breaks down and gonna cost me money again so samsung is gonna break up my marriage , also told them I have numerous friends with samsungs ,that had their tvs fixed under the class action suit they had, and thery...Leave a comment:

Ive pulled all plugs and reinserted, didnt clean them . After I put the new (ebay) t-con in I turned it on but I didnt have any components or antenna hooked to it but could swore it was clear for a couple of seconds then got that line of clarity at the top again like I blew the t-con,but wasnt sure kinda even questioned myself and asked "did that just flash to a bad picture again" what would you suggest to clean the connectors with? And yes I also unplugged and replugged everything back in. not sure what a bad panel looks like ,anyway...Leave a comment:

Ok heres my new dilemma I have a toshiba 26" lcd
model # 26 AV502r The top 1 inch is crystal clear and the rest is fuzzy (see pics) Ive changed the t-con (ebay board) and the inverter guess all theres left is av/Main board but before I did was wondering where I should look otherwise or give you tv brainiacs a lil challenge,Thanks in advance guys,Gootch24

Was watching some old movie on it and when screen goes dark all looks good except for tiny vertical lines, but if a color comes in a lines drops vertically almost that color (see pics)...Leave a comment:

ok I picked the tv up and havent pulled anything apart as of yet but wanted to post some pics, yes the picture did change a lil as seen in Pic 1, just horizontal lines, then started turning colors in pics 2 and 3 then last pic I was playing a movie off a stick and its not UNwatchable but not as clear as should be, Direction ya think I should Look?,Thanks ,Gootch24...Leave a comment:
