    More to mess with ...

    picked up some more broken Sets today to learn on . A nice person donated these to me for the cause .

    2 Sony Wega KDF-50WE655

    1 Sony KDL-52XBR4 (2008 model , might try to actually fix this one down the road

    1 Samsung Dlp HC-R4667W

    1 Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U

    1 Westinghouse LTV-Y0W1HDC

    1 BiG RCA D52W20

    The 2 Wega one powers one stays red light / The 52 inch Bravia pic is shown below is newer then the 50 inch i was planning on getting fixed end of this week .

      Humm ok heres new pic of the BRAVIA after i left it plugged in for about 20 mins ( give or take a few mins )

          I suggest you create separate threads for each TV. Keeping track of all them in one thread will lead to a lot of confusion.

              The Bravia has bad tab bonds - easy fix sometimes.

                  Retiredcaps , i will be for sure .
                  tom66 , i will look into it some and post new thread . Fiqure also might of been a bad solder as it fine as it gets heated .

                  Hopefully soon , work been crazy busy .

                      I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
                      I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
                      I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
                      The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
                      My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times...

                      Hello,
                      i have this sony bravia kdl-43w755c which boot loops. After sony logo, it shows the android animation loading then it restarts…
                      from what i read online it looks to be an emmc issue…
                      i’m not familiar with this kind of tv repairs… i’m repairing laptops and gpu’s…
                      i took out the board and say an samsung 16gb emmc
                      i don’t have an exact replacement, but i have a few 32 and 64gb emms’s from laptops…
                      i could try to put one instead of the 16gb one, but will it work?
                      where do i get the software from?
                      any help will be much appreciated!...

                      Greetings everyone.
                      I also have Sony Bravia, model:
                      Sony Bravia KD43XF7596BAEP - Android.

                      What happend is that image dissapeared while we were watching tv.

                      Diagnostics:
                      1. TV turns on, no errors
                      2. Backlight turs on, no errors
                      3. Power indicator turns on, white color, no errors
                      4. Menu works on android, you can hear sound while switching channels
                      5. Volume up and down works via TV remote and via buttons
                      6. Tunner works, HEVC / MPEG-4 decoder works
                      7. I get audio from channels
                      8. No picture is present,...
