I was able to replace one and while replacing the other i became extremely frustrated and a handful of the CAPS i replaced started falling out do to the lower rosin-core solder becoming fluid. I stopped and did not replace the other MOSFET or the CAPS that fell out. I found a replacement power board listed in working condition on EBAY and was able to buy at my offer of $25 with free shipping. I installed the new board and the TV is now working great. Thank you for all your help and I will still becoming back here first when I have issues. Thanks guys!
I have the same problem with my lg 42LB1DRA and wanted to make sure I knew what you did. You replaced the power board (yellow) not the logic/main board (green with the inputs)? Trying to finish getting this put back together to make my wife happy .

This is very old post. You might want to start new one.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

The TV does turn on, but no picture or sound. I can see that the back light is on though. What are the 12v and 24v and smps? Thanks.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

[SOLVED] M1 MacBook Pro clicking sound logic board 5V no power on A2338 820-02020
            by slimmy182
Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

            video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-xBu7m6SwE

Hi all. I was given this JBL Flip Essential speaker that 'fell from about 8 feet' and then the bluetooth would no longer function. It seems to power on normally and responds to button presses, but it will not showup on bluetooth for any device I try to connect to it.

The bluetooth daughter board has a 26mhz oscillator that I could not get to read the proper frequency so I tried replacing that to no avail. Thought maybe something was wrong with the bluetooth IC it's connected to, so I tried replacing that as well. None...

Samsung UN65js8500F, no sound, blank screen and T-Con board with one LED on
            by mrtek
Hi I am new to this kind of repairs but I want to learn..I have a Samsung UN65JS8500F. the TV used to work and I tried to fix darker areas in the middle only ( img 1,2,3). I thought the led strip were bad..not the case. I did not research in advance what kind and where the LED were located. In this model they are located vertically on right and left side. Took the TV apart and put it back together. Now the tv shows no welcome screen and no sound is available thru the speakers. ..just a black screen..Backlight LED do turn on...also noticed a 5 blink code , not sure if that was there before. I can...
