The original ones are used too. The next owner will find that out.

I hope it will last since it is used, not new transformer.

I'm thinking about fixing them, but if I remember well I wasn't getting 12/24V from those. Most likely it's a primary side issue or again could be just some capacitors blown like in this one.
Do you want to help me fix those?

How about the other two power supplies that you bought and they tested out bad when you use the lamps for testing?

I have purchased that transformer that retiredcaps posted(thank you again) and I will see if it fixes this TV(finally). I'm fixing way to many Vizios, but they are easy money.

The two VX37L I have uses two Inverter boards, the main board and my power supply (the connectors are the same as your) are not the same as you either.
Darfon is rally known for using bad transformers.

Wow, thanks for that. I guess only the first number/letter combination matters(6010B), right?
The meter it's awesome. I'm trying to sell a C550 bag(which was free with purchase) for $50 to drop the price of the meter even more.
Next on my list will be a Weller WESD51 station

One retiredcaps bonus point for a picture of your new Fluke 87V!

$9.99 + free shipping. USA seller.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/120903712163

    From the auction ...

"If you have a failed 4H.V1448.481 inverter board then there is a good chance one of these is bad. If you have an ohmmeter you can find out which one is the problem, simply measure the resistance between the two terminals at each bulb connector and they should all read very close to the same value, about 6k, one will have a higher or lower value indicating a failure. I can not guarantee that this transformer is the only problem, but on the boards I have seen it was always T2 or the second one from the top and replacing it fixed the board."

Ah, Darfon inverters - these fail like nothing else - and it's usually the transformers. Enter the part# into eBay to find replacements.

Can you post the pictures of both Inverter boards? I want to see if they are the same as what I have at home. you are talking about the inverter transformer right?

    Re: Vizio VX37LHDTV10A

I had a breakthrough with mine, though not sure what I did that "fixed" it to a point.
I guess I have tried using budm's suggestion to use the min/max on my meter, but course I didn't know what I was doing because it was maxing out with OL, but after this the TV stayed on with white logo.
My primaries were 1.6xxKOHM and the secondaries were 6.1KOHM except T1's which was 158KOHM.
So I guess this is my problem.
Now where can I find this transformer?

It's not that fast, I can still take like three measurements if I'm fast, but thank you for the suggestion. I knew that one day these extra features will come handy. By the way I have got a nice C550 bag as a promotion item from Fluke and I'm selling it, asking $55 for it, so if I can sell it for $50, my meter will be only $200.

What is weird that I'm measuring the outputs from the PS and I'm not getting anything while the led is white.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

    Vizio M65-C1
    by mrtek
    Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

Vizio SmartCast TV software bug that looks like hardware
    by howardc64
Bug looks like hardware so thought I posted it here. Exact same behavior on 2 different model 4K Vizio TVs running their SmartCast smarttv software. After launching youtube app, press vizio button on remote to return to the smarttv menu, once in awhile, a column of bad pixels will show for few seconds on the left hand side.

It seems the vizio software is reinitializing hardware when returning to the smarttv menu. In general, SmartCast software isn't very good. Also will randomly (relatively infrequent) get no network connection when on wifi and require reboot....

Vizio D50u-D1 Powers up no picture
    by csmith
I replaced the backlights all good. Two months later set was dead, had a shorted D9100, replaced all good again.
Now months later set powers up,backlights light ok,no picture. 12volts missing from fuse on tcon. 12VA on power
supply is 19 volts. Changed D9100 again, same, 12 volts measures 19. Am I looking at a power supply or mainboard
issue. Set will power up with remote but not power off....
