Re: Samsung 50inch Plasma - colored sparkles (videos in thread)
Good evening, I reconnected the television without the x-main control card and ... the image remains exactly the same, there is only the sound that has disappeared. It's strange, is not it? Thank youComment

by LintesirMy parents' Panasonic P42S30 died recently, and they asked me to have a look at it. I was able to identify the SN-board as the culprit, as it was shorted. After removing Q401, Q402, Q421 and Q422 the short was gone, so I replaced these components and that got the TV working again. However, when testing the tv a bit, I noticed quite bad pinkish sparkles on some colors. For instance the greyish bar on this forum seems to trigger it quite badly. I made a fullscreen test picture with only that color, with the below result.
There is about a 5cm high region at the top without any sparkles,... -
by PNI E.Good morning guys, I have this tv that have horizontal colored lines ( green, blue, black). I tried to disconnect the two ribbon cable on the t con, first the left side and then the right side. But the lines still are there…so I tried the tape method but didn’t work. Can someone help me to try to fix this tv. I give you the photo of the panel, and the panel with the left ribbon unplugged and then the right. Thanks for your help...

by alro7779Hello, everyone!
A co-worker gave me a 55-inch Samsung TV model UN55MU6103F so I can try to fix the following problem... As soon as I plug it in to the wall, the TV turns on, and the display shows a few stripes all over the screen. I took off the back cover and disconnected both ribbon cables that go to the display (one at a time) so by doing that I can narrow down the bad section of the problem, but in both cases the display turns black. I know there are some voltages that I have to check (VGH, VGL, etc.) but don't know what reading each has to show. If anyone could guide me on this,... -
by rapid911Hi guys, I have a Vizio M58Q7-J01 and now there are some colored horizontal lines on the screen. Could someone tell me if it's probably a panel issue or something related to other parts and can be fixed? Thank you in advance....

by Maverick1234Hi,
I have a Samsung 55inch TV (UN55C6400RF). It has started showing colored vertical lines. I have opened the TV and the power board had one pin (out1-) which is discolored (Model # bn44-00358b). Can this be bad or is it the T-Con board (Model # D03464E0J09B6012066). Any recommendations on diagnosing the issue?
Thanks,
