    Panasonic Plasma

How hard is it to replace boards in a TH46PZ85U PANASONIC PLASMA?

Do you guys know of any pictures that i could look at to see what screws need to come out?

    thanks

You just take out all of the screws from the back panel, and remove it. There will be a lot of them. The harder part is determining what board(s) are bad. It is not uncommon for more than one board to have problems in a Panasonic plasma.

That question doesn't bode well. Usually the screws that hold the back in place are indicated by arrows in the metal or plastic. Please be aware that plasma TVs operate at high voltages and currents. 385 VDC at 3 Amps can seriously alter your perspective on life.

The service manual is at Elektrotanya. You might also want to search that site for Panasonic Training Manual.

THAT's the Problem! You have the wrong type.

              You need a Phillips screwdriver...
