    Philips 42PF9431D

    This thread likely applies to the 37PF9431D and to the 50PF9431D

    I found three popped capacitors on one board:

    C5065 100uf 50V
    C5051 220uF 50V
    C5052 220uF 25V

    I'm not sure which one was the G-Luxon capacitor. I suspect the other two were made by Samwha, as the board and the LCD were made by Samsung.

    What other capacitors on this or any other board should be replaced without any further testing?

    Wow, that is a lot of big caps for one board. I think I count ten 315V caps.

    Anyway, I would personally use Panasonic FR/FM (assuming height, diameter fit)

    I would probably change out the smaller ones that aren't bloated as well.

      May any super TV guy has this model service manual. Please email me a copy. i want to look up the led code.
