    Can Anyone Help me with a Plasma???

    I have an Older Panasonic Plasma. My problem started as more of an annoyance than anything, the TV would "click" when i hit the power button as usual, it would come on, then after a second or so shut down and the power light would turn from green to red and begin flashing. I would have to unplug the T.V. and turn it back on and it would work. After about two weeks of this instead of turning on at all it goes directly into what I am assuming is "protect" (red flashing light"
    OK NOW THE QUESTION.... Where do I start? Im new to this, but I used to install car alarms and remote starts for a living, but that was years ago, So I know a good deal about electronics, mostly 12V though.
    THANKS FOR ANYONE WHO HELPS!!! <----thats cool

    Installing car alarms is nothin close to what you need to know to fix this. Unless you are ready to spend some $ on test equipment and learn alot of electronics I suggest you ask a tech to look at it.

      How about a model number for starters and how many flashes you are seeing?

        Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
        by STKR123
        As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
        I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

        As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

        There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

        Samsung QE55Q60TAUXXU - flashing backlight and flashing standy light--no image
        by learnmore
        Hello Community!

        CASE DETAILS

        Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

        13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

        Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change

        Samsung plasma - flashing standby light
        by 7ony
        The TV is a 2013 Samsung plasma, model # PN60F5300AFXZA.

        Snagged it up in non-working condition a couple years ago. Previous owner said that sometimes he could get it to come on after repeated tries but other than that he couldn't get it to turn on.

        Personally I haven't been able to get it to turn on at all. The standby light comes on solid when plugged in, but pressing the power button results in the standby light flashing once every 4 or so seconds. No "click" noises, no light from the panel at all. Just the flashing standby light.

        No visible...

        Samsung Plasma PS43F4500AW Won't Start (flashing standby)
        by check12
        Hi ... Samsung Plasma PS43F4500AW ... when powered with 240V mains standby flashes, pressing PWR button causes standby LED to go out but nothing further happens.

        I have already removed and benched the SMPS, jumpered PS_ON to GND, VS_ON to 5.3v and have VS & VA voltages and all other voltages available at CN4007.

        VS=213v
        VA=58v
        SVT_VS=213v

        This suggests to me that the SMPS is probably ok but I have no experience of TV repair so could do with some help.

        I have removed the XY-Drive board and checked all the ribbon cable...

        ITE IT8390 (IT8390E-256) programmer "ITE Download Board 4" user manual + firmware, flashing ITE ECs on the cheap
        by H34TO
        Recently I've gotten into EC flashing due to my broken laptop(s) and started frantically searching methods for flashing the IT5571E-128 chip on the cheap(due to me beaing a student and not having a job) and noticed that ITE newer chips can be flashed via ISP (In-System Programming) either via SMBus or the KBC (EPP - Enhanced Parallel Port) interface. While these can be achieved with programmers like SVOD4/3 or the RT809H/F those options are WAYYY out of my budget so I was horrified. But recently I stumbled uppon some programmers on aliexpress that claim they can program a variety of ITE chips...
