Hey guys this is the second Samsung LCD of mine to go out within the past 2 months. The damages to this one is to blame on a thunderstorm we had over the weekend causing a power surge. I was not home when the lighting struck the house but it has left my LNT4032HX/XAA not able to power on. My wireless router along with cable modem were all connected to the same surge protector and no longer function correctly. Also the video card on my PC which was connected to the Samsung LCD is no longer functioning.
When I plug in the power to the back of the TV the unit automatically attempts to power on. Red light in front flashes and you can hear a click inside the unit. The tv will attempt to cycle through a couple times making a click and popping sound from the speakers but no picture is displayed on the monitor.
I opened the unit and inspected the capacitors and none of which looked damaged, bulged, blown or leaking any fluids. However I decided anyway to replace 4 capacitors with Radio shack part 272-1032 1000uf 35V

CM817
Problem still persists and does not power up. If I connect the power cord the unit immediatley attempts to power on without pressing the power button. I am able to hear a click and then a couple pops from the speaker and the unit turns itself off and repeats this process.
My question is would replacing the IP board on the unit be the next step to correct my power on problem?
