Samsung UE46B8090 Screen almost white

Hallo everyone!
I just registered to this Forum because I have a very uncommon problem.
There is almost no (or very very little) colour on the screen.
Pls have a look on the picture:



Don´t care about the vertical stripes. They are caused from my camera.
But if you look at the lower right corner you will see some grey stripes running from every letter towards the top of the screen.

I haven´t seen such a fault before so I appriciate any help!!!

Get better picture, adjust your camera settings to show this fault better.

And *be careful* handling the TV. Very flexible with back removed.

This is probably bad T-CON, this is hiding behind the internal stand bracket structure.

Wow that was quick.
Better picture could not be made before friday. But the pic above shows the problem very well. The "colours" are actually as u can see on the picture.

Thought of the T-Con, too. BUT: its a 2009_240hz_frcq_v1.2 This T-con uses 2 parralel chips to feed the panel. So why is the whole screen "white" and not just a half of it?

T-CON itself generates different voltages and drivers to operate the panel properly.

Replace the T-CON.

PS: Photo DOES not show the fault properly. ALL I see is whiteness even I looked close. We can wait till then for better picture.

OK, I´ll give it a try an replace the T-Con.

PS: White is all you see when you stand right in front of the TV I´ll take a better pic asap........

this is a LCD, not a plasma right?
if so, the black upper left corner could indicate a cracked panel..

HAHA gotcha!! It´s the sticker that comes with the TV from stock.
The panel is def. not cracked. The picture itself is good/sharp but missing almost every colour......and has those bars running from every letter. So I think T-Con is not a bad guess. Haven´t seen this before. Thats why im asking here. Maybe s.o. has seen such type of fault......there´s nothing to find on the internet though.
Oh and any other suggestions?
