50' LG PLASMA 50px4dr Help!!!
hey i have a plasma tv tha has a light black bar that goes from almost center top of screen to about half way down and an colored one next to it. doesn anyone know if this is the driver board or what. i did notice that one of the ribbon cables that has the components on it gets hotter than the others where the black bar is..any help would be appreciated

If that was a Panasonic it would be as Plainbill said.
The Panasonics have the chip on the ribbon cable and they burn up.
Some of the L/G plasmas have the chip on the board and can be repaired by board replacement.
If it clears up by hitting the tv you need to look into it further.
I don`t even take tvs with this problem unless they are free.Comment

ended up being the CT driver board. when bill said something about drivers it made me look into this and got my hands on another board an tried it now tv works great thanks bill an candiman for your helpComment

I picked this up at a yard sale and the owner knew nothing about it. Just knew that it didn't work. I get it home and sure enough it doesn't come on. Here is what I do see/hear.
When its first plugged in, I can hear a click. It sounds like its from the power board. There is a red light on the front by the control panel that blinks 6 times. When I touch one any of the buttons on the front panel the red light will flash. I pulled off the back cover and looked at all the board. Nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing looks burned or damaged. Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
I got a tricky one today in the form of a macbook air A1466 820-00165-A that will recognize the charger and turn the light green then back to orange and the fan will spin constantly, but the system won't power on. The screen never turns on, it doesn't make the bong noise it's supposed to, and pressing the power button doesn't do anything. When I took the board out to visibly inspect it I only found one spot of corrosion on the bios IC. I pulled the chip, cleaned it and the area with IPA and put fresh solder on both and put the bios chip back on, but when I went to test it again it still does the...

I've repaired a few laptops in my life but this time my own laptop died😂.
Funny enough this one is a bit tough on me.
It doesn't turn on (most of the time).
Model: Lenovo y520-15ikbm (NM-391).
The only way to make it turn on is:
1) unplug battery + charger + rtc (seems irrelevant)
2) wait a minute
3) plug battery/charger in
4) on charger plugin, laptop turns on by itself. On battery plugin you have to press power button. Sometimes nothing happens and you have to try again.
5) when it turns on it also displays POST... -
I have laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL6 with Intel Core i3-1115G4. When I press the start button, LED light on the start button starts blinking 12 times, then stops and after some time starts blinking 12 times again. When it stops, all voltages are down.
The motherboard is HS460 HS560 HS760 NM-D471 Rev: 2.0
S/N: PF3Q0WTF
The motherboard is not mine, also there were corrosion on the board which I cleaned.
Methods of fixing like fully turning off the motherboard or starting only with adapter doesn't work. All testing were did only with adapter on.
