    Sony Bravia KDL-46V4100

Hey, this is my first post!
I picked up a Sony Bravia KDL-46V4100 it has a problem where the back light and sound both work fine on all of the inputs, however there is no picture at all. The screen is completely blank on all inputs. I have searched on these forums and narrowed it down to the T-Con board. During my search I found out that my original T-Con board has no thermal pads. Can you please tell me the following:

Are the pads supposed to be there on this model
Where should they be located on the board
Where can I buy thermal pads for this model

Here are some pictures I found of thermal pads for a T-Con in another post to give you a reference.

Not sure if they are supposed to be there but it wouldn't hurt to put one on to keep the processor cool. That being said I couldn't say where to buy them.

Sony 8K XBR-75Z8H White Screen Vertical Bars Tcon Code. Help Needed🙏
      by Daren87
      Hello everyone,

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

Sony KD-70X690E Bravia; Bad TCON? Bad panel?
      by swrb898
What's wrong with my TV: the TCON, the panel, or something else? I'm stuck.

      Problem:

Last week, my Sony KD-70X690E 70" stopped displaying a picture. The TV powers on, and the back lights power on. However, the TV doesn't seem to boot up. I say this because the SONY splash-screen logo does not display, nor does any picture display, nor can I invoke a menu by pressing "Menu" on the remote. Other than back-light bleed, the screen is black.

My troubleshooting got me this far:

With the left-hand TCON to bottom-board ribbon cable...

Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on
      by PopsCaps
I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times...

      Sony KD-55X9000F TCON Issue
      by thelankanguy
The TV shows a black screen with no image.
TCON ribbon connectors were disconnected individually for image and there was no half image even.
Later both ribbons were disconnected and TCON voltages were tested.
12V, 3.3V, 1.8V were seen present but VONE signal reads 0V.
There is also a short to ground in this circled inductor.
Is this a TCON issue or something else ?...

      Sony KD-55AG9 TCON?
      by bbrain
      Hi,

I have this problem with my Sony 55' AG9.
      It flashes 4x.
I have found the service manual, and seems it is the TCON.

Before I buy a TCON can someone check the vid?

      Thanks in advance!...
