Got a Westinghouse monitor with no power or no backlight after a recap?

If your Westinghouse LCD with a Delta DAC-19M005 PSU board still doesn't power up or powers up but doesn't have a backlight, check some SMD fuses on the back of the board.

I've got one with two blown fuses, one for the backlight feed, the other to the main board. F101 and F200 are open circuit.

Unfortunately the current ratings are unknown....F101 and F200 have a "W" on them while F100 has an "S". Is there a chart for these?

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

These fuses are different than the link retiredcaps suggested.
Search for Boums fuses.W=4a and S=2a
Do not pay attention to the letter shown on the link

SF-1206F400-2CT-ND i think this might be the 4a from digi-key

Whatever I do, I consider it a success, if in the end I am breathing, seeing, feeling and hearing!

Also, be sure to check the two AP40T03 mosfet transistors for shorts. If one checks bad, then replace both. These transistors shorting is one of the causes for the fuse blowing.

Oops, my bad. I'll delete that link from my bookmarks.

I initially suspected those...and then had to look back even further when I saw no gate drive on the scope.
