Hello. Got this tv with limited functions and with guest remote. Security level is probably on most high, i tried all posible codes like 319753info etc, nothing work! I tried upgrade firmware via usb, nothing happens. I dont have master remote to turn this hotel mode off, cant find one anywhere.. Is there any way, lets say to use universal remote and will it be able to enter setup menu? Is there windows program which can emulate it true ir sensor? I'm even thinking of upgrading firmware on cmos chip (like on pc mbos) with CH341A programer but firmware is pkg file (PS_2K10_DL_BUH-EU_MT5363_panel_2.02_110704_upgrade.pkg) and im not even sure its posible to unpack it and use this method? Any way around? Thanx all

I got universal philips remote which have ~8 philips presets. "setup" key on remote is not working. There is some function like audio, display mode (cinema etc) that is not available on guest remote but no setup menu
Why its so hard to reset it to default or to access setup? No way around?

Try combination from LC43HELA - 024995 Menu , maybe will help. Setup remote is RC2573 .Comment

You need to use RC2573 .You can use learning remote Venus , Superior , or Classisc .Comment

Philips SW Linux ....no need special RC... android IR apk with smart mobile had ir sender enough... also mini usb air keyboards with F funktion do better than original RCComment

what i wrote above had nothings to do with Internet or Smart TV... apk on android device with IR will work like RC, and wireless mini keyboards also had nothings to do with internet.. its same when you use air mouse on PC but this keyboards.Comment

Used my old LG G2 mini with built in IR. Most of app's are not working, and built in app work but cant access rc5 setup menu..

First post here so sorry if ill do any mistakes..
Got TV for repair, Philips 32PFL3008H/12, Main board VESTEL 17MB95S-1 170912. TV turns on, has image and everything, but there is no response to remote controll. Checked IR receiver - it gave no signal at all. Replaced IR receiver with no luck, still no response to remote, but i got proper waveform when any button is pressed. so far i tried ruling out software - flashed EEPROM / BIOS / NAND, no luck. At this point, when turned on, TV displays message "SHOP MODE", message closes, tv works as intended.... -

my remote control for my beloved TV (Philips 47PFL5028K/12) is no more working.
Codes of the remote should be :
PHILIPS 996590004895, YKF314-005
It's blinking endlessy when I insert AAA batteries.
Checked cap seems ok, the transistor (i think is that) seems good
IC not checked.
I thought also to a stuck key.
I switched cap and seemed to be ok but it restarted blinking endlessy again..
May the IC fail if battery polarity is inverted? because my son told me he did that ...

Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.
The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

I was wondering if anyone could help my in pairing a remote with a Toshiba fire tv?
The Tv model number is: 50lf711u20 Rev B.
I've already replaced all the the circuit boards within the tv along with the I.R. sensor receiver.
I've tried 3 different remotes which should be fully compatible with this TV.
Oddly enough. A few if the buttons on all of the remotes actually work. Even without pairing...which makes no sense.

Hi! I have this TV set that does the following:
1) I press the red power button on the remote
2) The TV turns on normally
3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF
Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again
BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote...
