Samsung UE50NU7020W TV Stuck on Smart TV Logo with No Display

    Hello everyone!

I have a Samsung UE50NU7020W TV with an issue.

When I plug it in and turn it on, it displays the "Samsung Smart TV" logo, the logo disappears, and it doesn't respond, no reaction at all.

The backlight remains on, but I can't do anything.

I've tried unplugging the ribbon cables from the T-con board one by one, but the problem remains the same.

Any ideas? I haven't found a similar issue on the forum.

    Thank you!

Indeed, there is no T-CON; I was simply referring to the two ribbons connected to the motherboard

      Here are the photos.

That's the only board of the tv.
In the photo, the speakers and wifi board are removed.

              Here are the screen photos.

When I plug it in, and one second after.
In the second photo, the backlight is on. But nothing is displayed. No sound either.

okay... you need to take out the black heat sink, you will find 8pins chips ( SPI ) this need to freez it then plug the tv in wall... see the result
will be good if you show us the SPI chip and its lable

Here are the photos without the heat sink.

Feel free to ask if you need more photos.

Is it really effective with the fridge? How long should I put the board in the fridge, and how long should I wait before trying again?

IC 503 , you need cool air spray.. not in fridge LOL
Lighter Gas can freez it too,,, but be caution don't burn your house

You think the problem is this SPI ?

we need to freez it first to see any change... if no change then we have issue at the NAND or main CPU BGA issue. however if you cn find boards will be fine too... yours panel are fine.

                          Ok thank I will check.

Alright, just for your information, a few weeks ago, I tried it, and the TV worked (just one time!), but it was extremely slow. Do you think if I replace the motherboard, the TV will work normally again?

                          Thank you.

sure will work your panel fine and B too.... nothings ells only left MB

BTW did you tried to disconnect the wifi / BT from the boards and turn on ??

from yours writing it was slow.. so the BGA issue very high possible under RAM / NAND / CPU.

Yes, I disconnect the wifi / BT from the board and it is the same thing.

I will check about a new motherboard and replace it.

                              Thank for your help !
