Hello guys,
I'm thinking it's bad main board, but I'd love any thoughts or things to try - the board is a couple hundred $$$ and I'd like to be sure before replacing.
So I got this TV dead - no standby LED or screen activity or backlight.
Voltages to main board are on (not sure what the level should be, but here is the connector's (PS CN9102) voltages:
PS_ON: 4.91V
+VA = 18.79 V
+VM = 18.82 V
I spot check voltages on the LED Controller board, and all the large upper inductors have about 9.4V on one or the other side.
On the main board, I see a whole bunch of rails, 1.1V, 1.2V, 1.5V, 3.3 V, 5V,...
The main board gets warm (not hot)
Disconnecting ribbons from TCON to MAIN have no impact.
Usually when I see many eBay postings for repairs with 3 month warranty, I think of BGA reflow.. wonder if this is the case?
Anything you'd try at this point? Any experience with common failures on this model?
Thanks
