so 1- you have the standing leg still in chassis mounted... how it come and the sheet out ??? all of them should be out to let the sheet sitting and legs standing will tight the sheep in place
2- however the photo not good enough.. but marked the 2 hols on one strips line... one for cable sockets and other for L & R joined socket..

with hols position you will know which are the top and down... and how the strips should mounted.

But yes diah, 20 LED each strip. All LED are evenly spaced and all 12 rows are exactly same except for 11/12 which are flipped. Will still get you picture of reflector but it's evenly spaced 12 LED up down 20 across

do you have 20LED at each strip L&R, its means to me as you have 5 LED+ so each 4 LED are one group, V round 12V in total.. not as some where i read written 12V LED LOL

take out the strips 11 12 the flipped One. and let them in connected as other ( doesn't matter how they will be even if out side the chassis ),,, then turn on the set let see what will happen

you make it over here like Salad ..LOL
take A4 paper and drowing the left strips and right one too to show the lines on the strips ( Red color )
1- check if all left side are identical and right side too.
2- follow the line to check the last LED unit + an which pins at socket goes. as well the the first LED unit - an which pin goes. do the same all LED + - ( blue color )on one strip complete left and right... you will understand how the LEDs on one strip divided as groups.

also please show me the white paper reflector sheet complete to see the hols on it

Okay diah, I believe you were correct. It looks like these have an order to go in. Problem is I didn't copy the order from the original ones and this doesn't make any damn sense at all. Each side has different numbers and I need to decode the order. Maybe you can help. So each one has a labeled number but some are duplicates. The only other difference is a different number on the stick so I will put right side with number and left side with numbers. Help if anyone can

    Right side

    1-709
    1-835
    2-710
    2-836
    3-837
    4-838
    6-714
    7-715
    8-716
    8-887
    9-888
    9-717

    Left side

    1-738
    2-737
    3-547
    4-735
    6-733
    6-661
    7-732
    7-660
    8-731
    8-659
    9-730
    9-658

The cables go from the bottom to the top. The bottom cable is 1 and it goes up to number 10 then the last two top cables (from LED driver) are 11 and 12 but they are flipped over. I do not have a picture (I didn't know this was a thing) other then the one shown from original LEDs.

How in the hell do I figure this out??? Anyone

    Yes it is.

I will take this thing apart again in a few days, I have some parts for other TVs I'm getting in soon and this TV takes up all working space when I take it apart. So we will get back to this shortly!! Thanks all.

I'm gonna have it down to the LEDs

even if there are SPI,,, SPI will not test or communicate with Panel,, it will do with T-CON.. regards to Panel decoding color display... if panel not in place SPI are blind will never report error... because no way at start up there script send to panel.... the communication with T-CON Only this talking only on separated T-CON not build in MB or panel.

there are many wrong OP did and confused.... its not this way to do.. even the PSU and LED power generator and LED inverter / deliver switch can be tested with out screen,,,,

this are part at manufacturing process... before they install screen in place.

No dear friend lotas, Sony TV firmware... they have Linux and this TV in the threat Android.
MB firmware will communicated only with T-CON... even panel broken it will remain work... so disconnecting panel it will work any time...

Yes, almost all modern Sony models will immediately display an error “5”, and if you then connect the panel, it will go into update mode, the LEDs will flash alternately.
This is Sony, they have their own startup algorithm, self-testing is underway, even if you install someone else’s T-con, it will give an error (they are tied to hardware).
Even the Hisense H55BE7000 model, if the backlight is not working properly, it won’t even turn on!

OP: let our talking only after we see the strips closely what u put in... labels are very important ... how many pins and LED unit,,, all this are important to start from zero as i wrote before

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Sony RB2G Chassis KDL-55W815B MAIN BOARD 2 Blink Error issue resolved! Happy days :)
    by cheeky2
For anyone interested just repaired this Sony Main board TV that had a 2 blink error code, the chassis is a RB2G which is common to quite a few different Sony models. The Ceramic 10uF 25V X7R 1206 capacitor C9114 was shorted which took the smd 2A 0603 fuse out F9101. This was powering the Buck converter TPS54332 which caused no 5V output from it.
See the attached picture of the locations of both components. I also attach the best service manual I found for this board for anyone else in a similar position of trying to repair this main board. It's not specific to the TV model however it gives...

    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
    CN6401
    Pin 01 NC
    Pin 02 NC
    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
    Pin 04 "N/C"
    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
    by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
    • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
    • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault
