That’s what the service remote does. He didn’t do anything special. He just had an old remote he supposedly modified to send the correct ir commands.

Yes, he said that he does not use the Samsung service remote. He has a gray
Samsung remote. I think this remote is a very old remote. Perhaps a VCR or TV remote. He says that he pushes two buttons simultaneously on it and this takes the tv directly into service menu. He says that he had to do some kind of modification in this remote.
I don't know but it sounds fishy to me. He says he pressed it once and the tv said "Not available" and the second time it went in without any problems.
I am not aware of any remote modification on as Samsung remote that does this kind of operation. Perhaps someone in this forum can tell????

Try pressing Exit for 15 seconds, this resets the tv, or you can erase the settins eeprom.. maybe hotel mode has get in.. try search service manual
    Hi Davi.p
I was on leave until now and got to look at my messages. Tell me how do you erase the settings in the eprom and what are the consequences of doing so?

    Regards
    A Anagnostou

I believe you push (menu, 3speed) to enter service menu. This is a master service menu and differs from the one you were trying to use
Using the service remote, when i press "Factory" the tv set says "Not Available"

No, it's a button labeled 3speed. I made a mistake as you push
