What a way to end it!

I can’t believe you would stop! You’ve got 3 or 4 very knowledgeable and smart blokes basically spoon feeding you how to go about repairing the set and you’ve give up!

    What a tit!

      @Davi.p thanks for your hint.

I never had a bad transformer on a PSU. Got this BN44-00627A here since March and could not fix it. First i found the D2011K damaged. The IC is next to the transformer. Also one UF4007G diode was damaged. I replaced it with a UF4007 only to find out weeks later it's causing trouble. The boost circuit was not working. It needs 390V but was only at around 316-320V. I replaced the UF4007 with the (hard to find) UF4007G which is much quicker and the boost voltage works.

But there was still a clicking and no stable output voltage. Because i could not find the fault, i bought a working board to compare measurements. Some values were different but not that much. At the end, i started to swap parts. I swapped all elkos, all diodes on the top side. Nothing helped.

Finally, because i read this post today and the transformer on the old board was heating up a little bit (which the one on the working board did not), i desoldered the 210064HD KE-03B DY transformer (something i did never before) and testet it with a DE-5000. One winding should have 0,410 Ohm but i read 1,230 Ohm. I swapped the transformer and the board was working as expected. No clicking, stable voltage.

LG 49UB850V not switching on / standby LED off / LD701 blinks 5x
        by Seb932
        Hi,

i'would like to fix my not working LG 49UB850V tv.

        Symptoms:
-AC plugged in, Standby LED not working
-Switching on, Standby LED blinks 3x. LD2300 on mainbord lights up and after ~30s LD701 on PWS board starts to blink 5x repetetive

        Checked already:
-Powersupply Output in Standby => 3.5V ok
-Switching On => PWR_On on P201 goes high and 3.5/12/24V are present on P201

Any suggestions what to check next?

        Thanks in advance!

Samsung UE75TU7020k No picture, Standby blinks 2 times
        by brithepi2k
My Samsung UE75TU7020k lights up fine when one of the ribbon cables are disconnected from the main board, lights stay on but not getting half a picture, I do the same with the other ribbon and put the other one in and lights stay on but not getting half a picture. The standby light flashes 2 times then reboots then it then tries to come back on again and just keeps looping until I take either one of the ribbon tables out (doesn’t matter which one I take out it stays lit when either one is out). I’ve tested the backlights but all working with none shorting out, I’ve replaced the main board...

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
        by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

Samsung UN46EH5000F wont turn on. Blinks red standby light continuously
        by Jackching
I know for sure it has a bad cap and one cold solder joint. Just wondering before i order the Caps if anyone has any experience with this model? Just making sure there isnt a common component that goes bad besides the caps....

Panasonic P58V11B 8 and 12 blinks error "fix"
        by Biruslapio
Bought this TV used not working, panel flashed briefly on power up and it was blinking 8 times, a quick look on SS board revealed a common fault on the 3uF 250V capacitors, C201 to C205 (C1620X in the service manual), the solder joints were all cracked, C201 and C205 pins were darkened and some sparking had occurred on them, C201 was split open and clearly overheated in its last hours, replaced that one and resoldered the others, 8 blinks fixed.

Also the previous owner broke the antenna connector by taking the TV out of the wall mount forgetting to unplug it, I desoldered the tuner...
