Samsung UN55D6003SFXZA TV turns off after 20-30 seconds

Hey guys! I saved an older Samsung tv from the recycle bin to tinker with as a hobby. Looking for some help as to what else to check/replace.

The issues it had at first was it would randomly reset its picture settings, this slowly devolved into it rebooting itself and the control board becoming unresponsive. Now it has finally gotten to the point where it no longer turns itself on when plugged in, but when I turn it on with the remote or power button it will boot to a blank input work for 15-20 seconds then turn itself off. I found if I pull up the menu it will actually freeze my control then turn off. The time to turn off is semi-consistent.

I have tried reflowing the board, and even replaced the NAND flash chip (ic1302) and the same issue still occurs . I tried getting into maintenance mode (Mute - 1 - 8 - 2 - Power On) and the issue occurs in there too. Also tried factory resetting after NAND replacement and bridging the SDA / Reset.

Any other ideas of what it could possibly be or what I could try? The Power board's capacitors look fine though I haven't tested them all with a multimeter yet.

    Thanks!

with tv unplugged from power which it should be any time connecting cables, unhook one at a time of the wide flat cables and try tv, so youre trying it with one cable unhooked then plug it back in and try it with other cable unhooked.

There are nuances in this chassis, IC1301 SDIN5D2-2G (eMMC) and IC1302 KFG1GN6W2D (OneNAND) must be the same software version, and eMMC (IC1301) dies in the main.

Great info Lotas, sure does seem like a memory issue.

Ah, so its most likely my eMMC chip then? Anything I can do other than re-balling it and replacing? I think id just consider the board toast if I have to replace the eMMC chip

Lenovo Legion 5 high fan spin turns off after 34 seconds
            by twonk9098
            Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with a Ryzen 7 series CPU and RTX 3070 GPU. My issue is that it turns on and all seems fine except after a few seconds the fans spin up high and the laptop turns off after 34 seconds.
I can get into bios and can even boot and login to Windows however after 34 seconds no matter if Im at the bios screen or booted into Windows it will just turn off.

I have managed to run HWmonitor and the temperatures of the CPU and GPU are fine, I can also touch the heatsync which is warm but not hot.

I have tried a few new bios but exactly...

Samsung UN46D6050TFXZA turns itself off 30 seconds after start
            by MarkH8729
The TV turns on fine. TV started turning off on its own about 30 seconds after I power it on a couple of days ago. Ran just fine about 5 hours before this started happening but had been off for those hours. Problem started the first time after that. I have turned it on from the remote and from the front panel and see no difference in behavior.

I have been able to turn it on multiple times and change channels and volume. The picture is good. The set just doesn't want to stay on.

Based on info I found online, I have tried a soft reset (unplugged the TV for as much as...

Samsung UN40H5003 boot loop every ~8 seconds
            by eigma
Hi, I rescued a Samsung UN40H5003AF (H = 2014 FHD) from the curb. Symptoms are: standby (red) light comes on, stays on for 8 seconds, flickers off, then comes back on, and the cycle continues.

            Service manual: https://www.electronica-pt.com/esque...is-u8la-71272/

SMPS board: checked voltages, all seem normal (A13V = 12.8V, UD = 3.3V, PWM_BLU = 0.77V, PS_OnOff = 5.5V). Remove 10p cable to main board -> backlight comes on. I think this means SMPS board and backlight are good.

LG 23MP55HQ LED Monitor turns off after a few seconds or flickers.
            by Rick_1234
            Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.
