    Philips 43PUS6501/12 EEPROM request.

    Hello everyone!

Does anyone have a dump file for this model of TV?
    Motherboard number is: 715G7772-M01-B00-005K
    EEPROM IC: 25L1606E

My TV is stuck in cycling color mode and I can't get out of it.

I tried to erase the IC but it didn't help.

    Thanks in advance!

There is also a dump from 43PUS6501-12 MAIN 7115G7772-M0D-B00-005K if needed.

Awesome, drop me that one too If you can please. It's a 43 inch model so maybe it would work better.

          Thanks again!

I guess you have an LG panel with an open cell t-con, when there is no signal detected from the mainboard the t-con goes in a WRGB mode.

I checked on the LVSD cable and the little notches on the side is torn off. The pins looks all intact both on the cable and in the sockets. Maybe without the notches its slides in the connector and by it makes it shorting/wrong contacts?

I'm not sure about the panel, but you are probably right.

Here are some close ups. I noticed a small bit of contact is missing from the smaller cable end.

try Jumper the lost pin with extra thin cable from board to board. and clean the socket.. it could be the reset of the pins doing short some where

Thank you for the advice, will try it with some enameled copper wire If I can find some.

Replace both cables and never use cables without the nodges!!! If not placed correctly centered there could be a S/C.

plus 100, don't risk shorting things out, just get some new cables.
