A working Dump is damaged immediately after power is applied, if the status register (0x88, 0x42) is not set after writing; if the service center did not do this, then it is damaged again.Leave a comment:

If this is not the original dump, then why is it also corrupted? I hope this is the original. Maybe you're right.Leave a comment:

Thank you, lotas, but it didn't help.
This is my home TV. When it broke, I took it to a service center. They diagnosed it as a broken processor.
I repair other electronics and am not an expert in TVs, but this seemed strange to me. So I decided to try it myself.
In 25q40, I found that the firmware start was missing and searching the forums suggested that this was a common problem. But fixing this problem resulted in the standby voltage appearing, the TV started to turn on, but there was no image.
Scratches on 25Q80 indicate that they tried to flash it without unsoldering it. This makes me think that I will have to further improve my skills in TV repair.
If the TV was already at the service center, then it is possible that the 25Q40 already had a non-original dump, maybe they tried to program it without saving the original one..Last edited by lotas; 12-29-2024, 12:02 PM.Leave a comment:

If you are looking for a new motherboard, look for the number on the white paper tag, it is BN-94-xxxxx, so that there are fewer compatibility problems with your panel.Leave a comment:

Then motherboard connected, standby led is on and current consuption is 18W.
Then trying to start the TV, the standby led is blinking once but TV don't start and standby led stay red.

by AhariHi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

by MephysisHello guys i really need help, i recently updated my DS-7208HGHI-K1 and it somehow got bricked, I've got it up and working now by flashing a new dump file i found but the serial number is really wrong and the uploader of the dump file probably intentionally did it.
I still have the bricked dump file is it possible to transfer the serial number of the "bricked dump" to the "working dump"? - Loading...
