It depends on your needs. if you want for led lcd tv go for rt809f.
UFI, Z3x, medusa/octopus for mobile phones.
or any box will work if don't need any help/support.

rt809f - does not know how to work with eMMC at all (only SPI Flash and EEPROM).

If i want to get into eeprom dumling and emmc programming where do i start?
It strikes me as odd that so many of you guys are doing this but its not your trade or proffessuon. Might be a tool i need to keep on my belt.

What intrigues me the most is the closed forum of theirs.

Every programmer is linked to the username on the forum.

Here is the disclaimer on the tv repair section

Forum for discussing issues related to the repair of electronics.
Only UFPI users can read, reply to, and create topics.
You can not distribute the information posted here on other resources. The violator loses access to the repair section.

So basically they can identify and ban whoever shares information outside the forum.

Iv seen couple of information that were somehow leaked from their forum and they were pretty interesting indeed.

Also iv seen somewhere that ufpi is a copy of another programmer that had a complicated UI and thats why this version took off instead of the original one.
