    thermaltake w0009 420w - teapo SEK substitute?

Finally I've cut through this "beautifully" designed psu to identify all the caps.

See my old What the heck is this? thread for pics

yellow: Jenpo ce-le 2200uF 16v (replaced with NCC KZE)
    red: two Teapo 3300uF 10v
    oranje: two Jenpo ce-le 3300uF 6.3v
    blue: Teapo sek 470uF 16v
    purple: Teapo sek 470uF 16v

What caps should I use to replace the 2 teapos ?
NCC PW or low esr KZJ Series

Fixed that, but you should probably use the Nichicon PW series as they are more towards the same ESR as the original caps. Using the LESR caps in there will actually cause more ripple.

Unknown brand and very low value. For a 420W I would recommend at least 2200uf caps for each rail.

I need extra space to fit that!

Would it be safe to increase that much?

IBM NetVista Pentium III - USI Motherboard w/ Teapo SC
              by iMic
              Hi folks,

I have a couple of IBM NetVista desktop computers from around 2000-2001. They have Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) Pro286i motherboards, 733MHz Pentium III processors, and a whole bunch of bad Teapo capacitors. One board has visibly bad and venting capacitors, while the other doesn't look too bad so far.

The board with venting caps works fine, while the good looking board occasionally refuses to power on unless it's left for about 30 seconds after connecting the power - even with a known good power supply. (I am however aware I'll need to check the PSU...

How to choose a substitute mainboard
              by learnmore
              Hello again Community

Anyone verse on how you go about choosing a substitute mainboard for your TV repair. Like the chap in the video below sometimes a 1:1 replacement board is too expensive and reballing a mainchip(s) maybe outside of your skillset . In the video the poster states one needs to match the replacement board with the SMPS, T-con (if not built in) and panel (and substitute cabling be also be required).

I'm very interested in choosing a suitable replacement board for any model or make of TV and the general (or detailed if your willing) step this entails....
