Anyone verse on how you go about choosing a substitute mainboard for your TV repair. Like the chap in the video below sometimes a 1:1 replacement board is too expensive and reballing a mainchip(s) maybe outside of your skillset . In the video the poster states one needs to match the replacement board with the SMPS, T-con (if not built in) and panel (and substitute cabling be also be required).
I'm very interested in choosing a suitable replacement board for any model or make of TV and the general (or detailed if your willing) step this entails.
