ACF Remover G-450 Substitute in Canada

Hi All,

Need help sourcing a substitute for ACT remover G-450 in Canada.

Removing glue from Flex Cable on LED TV that I dislodged so I can resolder with ACF tape.

Can someone confirm if acetone will work?

They will not ship to Canada.

Can someone let me know if this product can take the ACF glue off a TV Flex Cable and the pcb board so I can resolder it back to the pcb board.I

ACF G-450 can do the job but has to be imported from China.

Anyone use acetone to remove flex cable glue or clean pcb board?

Acetone will clean a PCB but be careful as it can melt some plastic.

You have a microscope and the other tools for this job ?

test your theory on a kerbside dumped tv or monitor - start with IPA
