Your core has too high a permeability to create such a small value inductance 0.359uH and an air-core inductor would normally be used. That explains the under one turn.

That calculator is out to lunch on the required length of wire. The disclaimer is a bit odd "Wire length is calculated with a margin of 10 cm on the "ends".

        yes,

        if I reduce u = 160, it will be 2 turns....
        The core I can find so far, u = 2300, can not find 160 yet...anyone knows ?

Use a different material or maybe a different shape. E.G. use a ferrite rod instead of a ferrite toroid. Or use a ferrite E-core with a gap in it (use insulating paper). Or use something like Micrometals -26 or -52 powdered iron material, both of which have a u of 75. Or maybe -8, with a u of 35 and lower core loss than -26 or -52 above 100KHz.

              I think it's similar with this :
              https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...575015666.html

it's not exactly that but similar...
              Do you reckon ?

I would recheck the L value because it seems too small unless you are approaching microwave frequencies.
0.369uH at 79.81kHz the reactance is 0.185 ohm.

For filtering noise would be a much larger inductance 10-100uH.
VLF radio, lightning detection etc. your C value is too large and L too small in your tank circuit.

+1, I doubt that what he needs 0.369uH for 79KHz. Where did OP get that value from? What is the circuit you are working on?
                  "Free shipping 500pcs LH0406-3R3M 3.3uH 4*6mm 1.87 A Radial Leaded Power inductor 4x6mm" That is 3300 nanoHenry.

b77, I'm not familiar with what sources for parts you have there in Oz. Micrometals seems to be available everywhere. It's based in Anaheim, California, but they have a factory in China plus a warehouse in Hong Kong. I suggest checking whether any distributors there in Australia carry Micrometals cores. Micrometals has catalog information on their website - materials and shapes.

I agree with redwire and budm. 369nH is an odd value for use at 79 KHz. Either there's a miscalculation somewhere (e.g. a decimal point moved 1 or 2 places) or it's being used to suppress noise in a frequency band much higher that 79 KHz.

Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited...

                      by RdeveLabs
                      To all the members here...

Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.

So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. But...

Acer Aspire 4520 won't turn on after reboot
                      by robante15
Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.

It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.

The moment I turn it off and want to turn it back on a second time, or restart it and try to start it again, it no longer gives an image, and it no longer responds.

                      If I remove the...

                      Hi everyone,

I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

The system does not turn on, there is no post.

I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen....
