Hi, I recently bought a XFX 750W power supply which returned because it was so loud and unbearable. So i need help finding a reliable PSU with atleast 750W for around £60. I want one that will last me years (just like my ocz 500W psu did with teapo caps) without trouble and it has to have a quiet fan. if anyone can find one in a retail store in the uk that will be even better. what are your suggestions for a psu, thanks

Re: Need help finding a PSU
Only have a single graphics card? What CPU? I haven't been catching up with the latest and greatest stuff, but I doubt you will need a new PSU just for a graphics card upgrade. Most CPUs today peak at 100-120ish Watts and graphics cards maybe just as much for the high end ones.Comment

Re: Need help finding a PSU
that ocz will be enough when you upgrade. but I highly recommend cleaning out all the dust thoroughly and replacing those junk caps. its a PITA to swap caps but you'll get another 5 years out of itComment

by diggittHi,
I am repairing a DeWalt DC011 radio. I found that the secondary coil of the transformer had gone open circuit and the amplifier ic had shorted. I have replaced both but I can’t tune it in to a station and the static is very quiet. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you-

by princeatomI need help finding the NTC thermistor used by NCP81172 on the Titan Black. Pin 13, Which is TSNS, temperature sensing, is shorted to ground. The only thing connected to this pin is a cap and thermistor. I don't have another card to test if it's supposed to be shorted. I've probed the entire card and no luck finding it.
NCP81172 is the synchronous dual phase buck converter for the memory.
I've circled the chip with green and colored pin 13 in red.
If anyone has a boardview or schematic this would help me greatly....03-26-2022, 07:44 AM -
by taurtntHi everyone,
I’m trying to identify a step-down regulator marked AMCH073. It’s used on the PEX power rail of a graphics card. I can’t find any datasheet or info online.
Here’s what I’ve observed:
• It has a QFN-16 footprint, similar to NB670.
• Pins 1, 2, 15, 16 are connected together and go to the inductor, so likely SW (switch node).
• Pin 9 is connected to GND, which doesn’t match NB670 (where pin 9 is SW).
• Pin 8 also seems to be tied to the same GND plane.
• The chip only says AMCH073, no manufacturer logo or other markings....1 Photo - Loading...
