Hello all!
I have 2 of the APC RS 800 units which I have purchased new batteries for but the UPS's show overload with 90 watts connected when going to battery power. It also shows the unit is charging and the % of charge is slowly dropping when it is on AC line power.
I have search all over using google (which is how I found you folks) trying to figure out if it is a capacitor issue.
The PCB is a 640-0189D and all the capacitors look normal with no swelling or leaking.
Where is the charging capacitor? I have also read where it may be the inverter capacitor?
My wife is not very happy with me having 2 UPS in pieces in the living room so any help would be great!
Thanks!
