Yeah the heatsinks aren't the greatest. But the fan is designed to get 12V all the time so it moves lots of air

 . I've done this to a number of L&C PSUs now, and none of them oscillated afterwards - with and without a load.

						 the donor one is actually a little smaller value (i think) the Allied says 1.0K and the L&C one says 105K. sorry for my lack of knowledge but what would the snubber look like or where would it be located?
