Hello guys,
I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.

Hey guys! i build a 30V 3A powersupply. My friend blown it... He connected cables to the wrong connectors. I changed the op amps, shorted zener diode and a 9014. Now the powersupply works again but only to 6V. When i measured the caps they looked in spec. But after i connected 2200uF cap on the main power rail parallel to the C1 - 3300uf one - output voltage is now regulatable to 8v. Any idea where to look ? or what to do ? R1 and R2 are getting hot. The input of the transformer is 40V after rectifiers. Its a 24V transformer on 230V mains voltage.... -
Hi
I am repairing a Optoma HD beamer with a bad powersupply. It has a blown 6.3A fuse and a burned coil in the mains line.
Any ideas where to get a filter like that? I am little surprised that the mains is directly connected to both lines on the coil. One wire has a bit of more isolation (light color) but still both mainlines are really close together like this. It seems to me this is asking for trouble. I mean i have seen them with seperate sides but never like this. Maybe rewire? Any advice?... -

I just have some questions regarding to these IC's. When we are changing 3 -5 V power supply do we need also to change Upper and Lower Mosfet? Or the output Capacitor (No idea which is this cap). The same goes for the Charger Chip. Do we need to change also the Mosfets?

I have a MacBook Pro A2338 M2. The MacBook runs with the power supply unit. The fan runs permanently and the battery shows the message “Service recommended”.
I have already replaced the battery with a new one, but this has not helped. I have also tried DFU and the system restored the error remains the same.
Do any of you have any ideas where I could look or how I should proceed here?...
