Help in finding a replacement IC

    Hi,

currently I´m fixing (another) Corsair CX430 V2 which I believe has a faulty monitoring circuit. It doesn´t give any PGO (power good) on the output pin, even though all voltages are close to excellent. The IC is an ST9S429 which according to hardwaresecrets.com is the same as the S3515. I have no idea where or how to buy a new one, neither of these IC´s seem available on Farnell, RS, Digi-key and so on. Pehaps there´s a generic which is easier to get I can use instead?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Help in finding a replacement IC

Hi - If you look at the datasheet for the S3515 it is described as
a PC Power supply supervisor. If you go into www.alldatasheet.com and type
power supply supervisor into the description search it will show some.
For example there is a 3515A by the same manufacturer which according to the datasheet is very similar, but I cant find who sells them.
There are others further down the page.
I also typed the description into mouser and one example is
    http://uk.mouser.com/ProductDetail/T...gZLh7K9H2wPFB6
There are others. You need to find one which matches physical size and attributes by downloading and comparing datasheets.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: Help in finding a replacement IC

Thank you for the tips. Unfortunately I can´t find any pin-compatible IC anywhere, seems like I have to jumper the power good signal to get it working :\
