    Antec EA-430 Recap

I Recently recapped an Antec EA-430 (SeaSonic built) and figured I'd post some pics and a description of what I did.

    Caps Replaced:
    3X OST RLP 1000uf 16v > 3X Samxon RS 3300uf 16v (I know 3300uf caps are excessive but they were the only 10mm 16v caps I had that were 1000uf or greater)
OST RLX 3300uf 16v > UCC KZE 2200uf 16v (I know this is a reduction in capacitance but the 3 1000uf caps I replaced with 3300uf more than made up for this since all these caps are on the 12v rail, one is directly before this cap)
    2X OST RLX 2200uf 10v > 2X Rubycon MBZ 2200uf 10v
    2X OST RLS 1000uf 10v > 2X UCC KZE 1000uf 10v
    OST RLS 3300uf 10v > UCC KZE 3300uf 16v
    OST RLS 220uf 16v > Rubycon ZLH 220uf 16v
    OST RLS 220uf 16v > UCC KZE 680uf 16v
    OST RLS 47uf 50v > UCC KZE 56uf 50v
    OST RLS 22uf 50v > UCC KZE 56uf 50v

The only cap not replaced was the 330uf 400V Hitachi on the primary

None of the OSTs were visibly bad but this unit ran for 5 years 24/7 in a server so I figured it would be a good idea to recap it before it put it in my HTPC.

DFI Lanparty NF3 250GB complete recap help
    by laskr1999
    Hello!
I have got a DFI Lanparty NF3 250GB motherboard, that have all of the capacitors failed, board still working.
I have read, that I need to match ESR, Capacitance, Voltage to have a quality recap, but with ESR im in a problem. 0.012 ohm is what i see on the vrm caps specs, but lowest I could find is 0.018 and up, usually 0.04. Can someone help me find good replacements?
I'm located in EU, and I have found a guy here on the forums who listed the caps, so here are they:
    - 20 x Nichicon 1000uF 6.3v HM 105C
    - 5 x Chemi-con KZG 1000uF 10V
    - 1 x Chemi-con KZG...

    recap help AcBel PSU
    by pavithra_uk
I found used PSU AcBel PC6001 ~250W from IBM thinkcenter Core2Duo system. Almost every output rail caps were bulged except 12V rail single cap. caps were Ltec

    12V - 1200uF 16V
    5V - 1000uF 10V before coil 1000uF 10V after coil
    3.3V - 1000uF 10V before coil 1000uF 10V after coil
    5Vsb - 1000uF 10V before coil, 470uF 16V after coil

Since I have no access to buying new branded caps, I'm going to replace caps with used caps I pulled from dead PSUs and Motherboards.

I need cap experts ideas about it.

    Picking caps for Antec SU-380
    by ajdrenter
In my search for a proper 5v heavy ATX power supply, I selected an old Antec SU-380 that I've had in storage for a long time. Opening the power supply reveals a couple bulged capacitors. I removed all the caps and made a map for myself. I found the datasheet for the PCE TUR series in this thread:
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14159
It says these are general purpose, so I assume I can replace them with any general purpose capacitors, but I don't really know anything about power supply circuits or reading capacitor datasheets. Despite this, I've been shopping for replacements:...

    ASUS P5GC-MX motherboard recap
    by momaka
Here’s another motherboard that needed a full recap: an ASUS P5GC-MX.
This one was gifted to me some years ago by user Pentium 4, along with a few other goodies. It actually came in working order with no bulging or leaking caps. However, I noted there were United Chemicon KZG caps everywhere on the motherboard. The CPU VRM output (CPU V_core) was the only exception: it had only 2x KZG. The rest was 6x UCC TMV 4V 680 uF caps… which aren’t any good news either.

So here is what the motherboard looked like with its original caps:
