Dell Optiplex GX280 Small Desktop has one that fits but it is 210 watts.

So it looks like this then?
    -
That is a very common Dell part used in.
    Dell Optiplex GX60 Small Desktop
    Dell Optiplex GX240 Small Desktop
    Dell Optiplex GX260 Small Desktop
    Dell Optiplex GX270 Small Desktop
    And some others.

Should not be hard to find even in THAILAND but search for Dell PSU instead of NPS PSU.
There are maybe 3 Dell PSUs that fit but that are not NPS.

Also now that we know exactly what it is some members may actually have one to look at/check to help answer questions.

It may need a minimum load on 5v for 12v to operate correctly. Connect a spare hard drive to it and see if it goes in spec.

    HI PCBONEZ,

    here is your request.

Yellow should be 12V that u told us.

Why this power is 10V? Where is the problem? I'm so tried for fixing it.

That's not what I was looking for. - It does not help at all.

The PCB number is rarely what the model number is.
That same PCB might get used in 20 different models.
It is the model number on the box that helps to find things.

    - I need to see a picture of the sheet metal box that goes into.
    - I need to know the model number of the Dell it came in.

    I can't find any mention of a NPS-180PB anywhere.
NPS-180BB is a Dell proprietary unit [and very common.]
NPS-200PB seems to be a basic uATX size PSU.
[Although if it was in an old Dell P3 system some had proprietary pin-outs.]

    Finding a schematic is unlikely.
They like to keep their designs secret.

What Dell machine is it in? [What model of Dell?]

Can you post a photo of the whole unit please.

This is the most common version of NPS-180 but there are others.

All of these NPS-180 PSUs are interchangeable:

    Dell Dimension 4500S
    Dell NPS-180AB A
    Dell HP-U1806F3
    Dell 1N405
    Dell NPS-180BB
    Dell HP-U180F3
    Dell 4E044
    Dell Optiplex GX60 Small Desktop
    Dell Optiplex GX240 Small Desktop
    Dell Optiplex GX260 Small Desktop
    Dell NPS-180-AB
    Dell NPS-180BB
    Dell NPS-180BB A
    Dell Dimension 4300S
    Dell 01N405
    Newton NPS-180AB A
    Newton NPS-180BB A
    Newton NPS-180-AB

Perhaps if you search for different numbers you can find one in Thailand.

Dell Optiplex GX260 Small Desktop PSU should be easy even there.

when the two pins are shorted , the power supply work normally, the voltage at each line

red 5V yellow 10V orange 3.3V (I'm not sure why yellow is 10V).

----cracked soldering , scanned not found.
----open resistors , tested all not found.

Do you have a datasheet of this controller?
Do you have a schematic of this power supply?

No... but i think some of those parts around it did. Does the power supply work normally, with no trouble, with stable voltages, when the two pins are shorted? If so, you could just leave it like that and call it a day. It is probably one of the protections, if the power supply is working normally they do not need to fire.

If you want to fix it, look for cracked soldering and open resistors around it. Check voltages between each pin and ground when they are not shorted together, it'll give us a better chance of understanding what that section does.

fan twitches. I'm sure the problem in secondary. But i don't know where.

shorted component not found , i checked all resistors and diodes and transistors.

i suspec in controller/monitoring IC , can i replace another one instead?

label on front of controller is "2M4 1002DS" < Is it a controller we need?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
    by PantherDave
    Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

    Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue

    Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
    by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
