I've seen a lot of posts mentioning "fake size 35 transformer" which can't be further away from the truth. What is referred to as the "real" size 35 is probably the EC-35.
However, the 35 designator only refers to the width of the core. The ones you see marked as 35 but are smaller in height, like ERI-35 or ERL-35 or whatnot, aren't actually fake, they belong to a different series which is the ER-35. The even smaller ones are the EI-28 (on a side note, i've pulled two out of "350W" Powerlink supplies, now THAT'S a big fat lie), and here's the ubiquitous EI-33 which some of you refer to as the "size 33".
Regardless of who made them, they will conform to the parameters in the Ferroxcube datasheets because they are standard parts. This is very useful if you want to build a SMPS for something else using parts from a PC power supply. So feel free to browse around their site if you need help identifying any unknown cores.
