Hello mon2,
thanks for your anwser, i don't speak english well but i try. Yes its very good idea and you have wright i go to change this resistor by another same like i2c line. But with zillion xzz i don't understand why have boardview but not schematics. its abnormal.
Big thanks i go to test your way ans reply after. Have i nice weekComment

Hello, I soldered 2 1k resistors it's true that on these lines there are 1k resistors except that it doesn't work. These are the resistors on the I2C gasgauge and SDA lines resistors near the battery connector of the 2 thin pins. The iPad Air 4 turns on and restarts alone, and stays on 0%.... I think battery has a problem too maybe...Comment

Hello everyone,

thanks so much I need the value of this capacitor.1 PhotoComment

Do not see a schematic in my database but only boardview file. The 2 caps in the same region are each linked to the PPVCC_MAIN_LCD_SW rail. You can study other available schematics to review which caps are present there and this board should be similar. These are bulk filter caps for the power rail.
Suggest to source:
10 uf, 6v3 rated or higher voltage 0402 X5R ceramic capacitor
10 uf, 6v3 rated or higher voltage 0603 X5R ceramic capacitor
10 uf, 6v3 rated or higher voltage 0805 X5R ceramic capacitor
Each should be low cost from Digikey / Mouser / Arrow / RS electronics. Grab a few of each since they are easy to lose when mounting. Only one will fit inside the PCB footprint. These caps are not polarized so no polarity to the mounting direction.Comment

by GeirAndersenI tried searching the forum for whether this has been uploaded already, but couldn't find them (as a collection).
Here's a dump of a bunch of iPads, I've split into 2 archives to get under file limit

by StepheniPad battery seemed defective, it would charge then once it turned on it wouldn't charge more. After ordering a battery it would charge then drain very quickly (1% drain every 20 seconds) it then wouldn't take a charge then take a charge when it hit a certain level. I'm assuming it is a defective battery, it doesn't turn off when unplugged but seems faulty. Sometimes when I plug it back in it doesn't even take a charge and keeps draining then all of a sudden it charges. Am I missing something?

by cheebsterHello, got an iPad Pro A2378 12.9 5th gen with no backlight. Got another test unit without screen, tested the screen, still no backlight with the test unit.
Figured out the backlight on the screen was bad, ordred a new backlight from mobilesentrix, *carefully replaced it* without damaging the lcd, oh well.
Final result, issue is still there, the screen has no back lights. So i'm back to square one, with 3 hours less and 100$ out, issue still on the screen.
The panel is still ok, i can see the apple in the middle of the screen when it kicks in, just no backlight.

by AimbitUsing an ammeter, original battery was only taking 90mA or so... then down to 0, up to 90mA, down to 0, etc, in a repeatable pattern. This iPad was very old, so first thing I did was swap the battery for a good one, and it came pre-charged. The old battery had negligible voltage.
Now the iPad go up to about 1.5-1.6amps charge, then it drops to 0 after a few seconds... rinse/repeat as before. I tried changing the Tristar chip to see if that would help (and also my first real BGA chip!) but it seems to make no difference. Where should I look next?
