Re: Asus E410MA r5.1 bios dump request
Here are 2 bios files from Asus, you must have a sticker on your motherboard leading you to the right file that you should use. Otherwise you can try them one by one.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. MA dump behaves the same, MAB can be turned on with the battery disconnected, but still no initialization. With MAB, the processor gets very hot.Comment

Hello !
I have an Asus E410MA that came to me with a password on the bios.
I wanted to flash the bios with one of those provided by asus but they only provide files with the extension .306 and I do not understand how to exploit this.
I searched the forum and found a lot of interesting information and tutorials but either I do not understand or I looked in the wrong place.
Could someone help me first to remove this password from this bios and why not, explain to me how it was done?
Thank you in advance!

Thank you!
After testing, I think I burned the regulator used to power the bios by using a programmer of very dubious manufacture, I'm ordering a new regulator and a programmer worthy of the name and I'll tell you if everything works as soon as possible.
Thank you!Comment

by mkdjDear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:
I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.
I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...-

by razor_amdWith ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.
For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.
I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.
This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...-

by piratiHello everyone,
I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.
I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...-

by DynaxSCHi,
I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.
Usually on ASUS boards it worked...-
