The serial number in the bios is 5CD052GCY1 .One of the reasons why we ask for the serial number posting is so that it can be checked agains the serial number on the laptop sticker.As the bios has come from a different laptop the ME firmware will need cleaning,thats why "it takes a long time to work. and the fan is too loud"

I suspect it can`t be cleaned because that is the backup ME firmware in the 32MB EC_Bios chip. Its the ME firmware in the 32MB Main bios chip that needs cleaning for slow boot. Where did you get that file,which post ?

I can`t clean it,i don`t have an Intel Flash Image Tool version that will open your bios without errors. Maybe someone else can help.

hello i have this probook 650 G8 that does not turn on, after testing a bios from another laptop it came on but wouldnt read ssd, then after sometime it went back off, so it needs to be cleaned if someone can help me with it, thank you.

I have written some date in the BIOS but I need feature Byte and MAC Adress. I don't know the serial number of purchased MB to find some data in HP PartSurfer. Who can help me please?
