Wow it worked, I'm in I wish I know how to do it so that I also help others when they post for help... You are a Genius.

I followed the instructions, I only reprogrammed EC immediately when it boots I saw an endpoint error I knew it worked.

Now is unlocked I can make changes to BIOS

hp probook 650 g8

the bios on my unit is locked. i do however have full acess to a windows 10 installation on the machine. is it possible for me to remove the password in the bios using any method? thanks for any assistance and guidance.

I think flashing the bios chip will resolve your issue!
