    Hello everyone.
    Please help me revive my laptop.
    Unfortunately, I don't have a BIOS backup from this laptop.
    I tried getting a BIOS copy from another similar laptop, but it also didn't work. The fan turns on, spins for a few seconds, then turns off, then tries to turn on again, and then spins for a few seconds and does this constantly.
    As far as I understand, I need to somehow enter S/N: and MTM: into the BIOS.
    I would be very grateful if someone could help.

        S/N, model, MTM should show as INVALID, it can be fixed later with Golden Key (if laptop powers on) https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...r-bootable-usb
        If that doesn't work check for hardware problem

            Hello,

            I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
            So I thought it was a Bios problem.
            I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

            Hello there.

            I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

            History:

            1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

            Quick rundown long story shorter, but still long winded.
            I received this Lenovo P1 GEN 1 about a year ago from a business.

            It was pretty much dead hit the power button and the LED on the power light would come on as would the keyboard back light a couple times and just shut off or go into high speed fan mode without life other than the power button led.

            At that time it was still under warranty, I spoke to Lenovo and I was going to send it in to have them repair it.

            Then late last fall my father-in-law suffered...

            Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore.
