Please read the rules and bios guides sticky threads. You must post the laptop service tag

i did try to use ch341a to retrieve the data from the other chip.. but it failed with "IC not responding". Can you advise the way I can get bin?
            Thanks.

That isn`t a proper WSON adapter. The large ground pad under the chip will be touching the other pins. Put some tape on the ground pad.

I did test them pin by pin, all the pins are independent. By the way, why some other user request, only 1 bin file ok, but I need both? Could you explain a bit more? And I did try to load one of clean 5410 firmware to the main chip and the services tag become 7Y9N273-8CF8 in the bios password screen and I could get in read-only bios while I can't even get in bios when I use original firmware and it shows 7Y9N273-0001.
                Thanks a lot.

What software version are you using, and is the chip in the support list, did you use Auto-detect or choose the chip manually. What part number is the bios chip

The software I am using is Neoprogrammer 2.2 which can not detect the IC, from the schematic the chip is named GD25B256DYIG. but actually, it is ?XMC QH64H1Q? nonetheless, i cant see support list.

You can choose a different 256 chip in the support list such as W25Q256xV to read it, then when writing to it untick Verify in the Programm IC drop down menu. Or you can add the chip to the NeoProgrammer support list ,doing it this way at least you will be able to verify what is written

                      Add chip support - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...41a-programmer

                      GD25B256D id=" C84019" , page="256" , size="33554432"

What`s this QH64H1Q no such part found on google, post the part number again, look at it carefully

                      .

I try several some Winbond variants, but still not luck... just replied with 'IC not responding" .. And here is the chip image... Anyone know how to get access to the bin file?
                        Thanks/

NeoProgrammer should read it ok , but you can try with ASProgrammer and Colibri as well but i don`t think you`ll do any better. The problem is the adapter and/or the soldering, or the CH341A itself is faulty, you can try resoldering all the pins on it. There`s a voltage mod you can make to the black CH341A , try that too, see if that makes any difference , or buy a better programmer.

after writing the patched file to the chip, and solder it back. Unfortunately, it can not be booted. As long as I press the power button, only the "LED activity light" turn in amber color. No matter with battery or not. Do I need to handle the other chip? Any clues?

I repeatedly solder and desolder the chip and try your bin file over 5 times. But it still failed. no POST comes up. Anyone else can help verify the bin or re-patch the bin for me? Thank you very much.
